Marco Cottitto is an Italian headhunter based in Tokyo, mainly focusing in Corporate & Transaction Banking.
Sicilian by heart, global by definition , Marco has lived in Japan for almost a decade now, having traveled the world back and forth, blessed enough to get in contact with different philosophies, cultures, and more.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Communication from Universita’ per Stranieri di Perugia in Italy and a Master’s in Marketing & Business Communication.
He found himself being headhunter just by accident, as his strong desire to live in Tokyo brought him into this “obscure land” made of people, day in – day out, managing to survive at first , and to come out as one of the most recognizable and knowledgeable recruiters into his space, with outstanding track record across Global, European and Asian Corporate Banks across Japan and APAC, being “at it” for almost 10 years now.
Marco is visionary head-hunter, people-lover, with strong passion for what he does, making sure to go beyond the concept of head-hunting itself, being a trusted business partner for both his clients and candidates. Given his experience into the business, he decided to create a blog, a go to guide for candidates and business managers, sharing hints & tips, business trends across banking world, as well as fine music tunes & fusion foods, as he’s also a blues musician and ethnic chef, when suits and tie go off to the closet.
